Extremely overprice, with appliances that don’t work and poor staff communicatio.

Excellent location A large terrace. Brightly lit apartment.

− 1. Very poor staff communication 2. The fridge was stuck for 6 days straight until they finally sent someone to fix it 3.There’s a little box right by the bedroom window, that persistently made a shrill noise until they finally sent someone to fix it. Within the first week I could hardly sleep. 4.Uncomfortable mattress, it’s basically a twin bed that’s joined together and if you sleep in the middle you basically sink in. 5. Rude neighbours, someone literally stuck cigarette butts on the apartment door with a letter saying “ don’t throw this out the window”. Mind you I don’t even smoke cigarettes. 6.The elevator kept breaking down. There was a time it stopped working for two days straight. The apartment is on the very TOP floor, so be prepared for the journey to the 9th floor. 7. The buzzer doesn’t work, I kept on requesting for it to be fixed and when they finally sent someone 6 days later , he couldn’t get it fixed ands then someone else came back 3 days later and still it wasn’t fixed. I missed important documents because of this since courier’s have no way of knowing if you’re home or not.

Wonderful location and will return!

Lage und Umgebung gut

Die Lage des Apartments war sehr gut, ca. 8 Min zu Placa Catalanya bzw. zu anderen U-Bahn-Stationen. Aber auch in 15-20 Minuten in der Altstadt. Die Ausstattung mit Lift im 7. Stock (nur der letzte Halbstock war noch zu bewältigen) und den Balkon haben wir auch genossen. Allerdings könnte es im Sommer dort zu heiß werden. Es gibt fußläufig einige nette Lokale, Bäckerei und auch Supermarkt.

− Sehr unfreundlich hinsichtlich der Anfrage, ob es möglich wäre die Koffer schon früher vorbeizubringen (haben dann Storage benötigt) und auch hinsichtlich der erforderlichen Registrierung mit Fotokopie des Reisepasses und der genauen Daten wie Heimadresse (es wurde mit dem sofortigen Verlassen des Apartments gedroht, obwohl eine Woche zuvor mit Kreditkarte bezahlt, über die bar zu übergebende Tourismus Fee von EUR 55,00 wurde kein Beleg erstellt). Das hatten wir bei bisherigen Barcelona-Aufenthalten nicht. Die Heizung und Warmwasser haben die letzte Nacht bzw. Morgen nicht funktioniert, obwohl 4 Tage zuvor beim Einchecken auf den Servicemitarbeiter gewartet wurde. Laut den Service-Protokollen dürfte die Gastherme schon seit längerem Probleme machen. Beim Wasserdruck gibt es auch Mängel, "Tröpfchendusche".

Overall an excellent stay only marred by the issues mentioned, which could be easily remedied.

Location and terrace were excellent. Faulty kettle was quickly replaced. The lift was much valued!

− A long wait for the keys to arrive. It's difficult to predict arrival time in an unfamiliar city! The lack of heating, which was not resolved while we were there. The bathroom was small and hot water pressure not great, but usable,
