8.0We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel Atlantic. The rooms facing the inner courtyard are very quiet — which is quite rare for Paris! The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere while still being conveniently located close to Gare Saint-Lazare and major attractions. A great choice for anyone looking for a calm stay in the heart of the city.

10.0Like all inner city hotels the rooms are small. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally good. We are almost 79 and we were enroute to Normandy. The hotel is literally 50 steps across the narrow street from gare St. Lazare. Step out the front door, just to the right, take the elevator down to the platform)The front desk staff were exceptional, they gave us a quick tutor on using the metro, (which is accessible in the train station). We eat little in the morning so just went next door to a lovely coffee shop. We stayed two nights, then took a two hour train to Caen, rented a car, drove over to Bayeux to our AirB&B for our tour of Normandy
