Nemodern ubytovanie v Café Modern
6.0Poloha ubytovania 10 minút pešo od bezplatného trajektu na stanicu Central. Samotné ubytovanie trochu zvláštne, ale priestranné, čisté, vybavené pre mňa zábavnými doplnkami. Pomer cena/kvalita nepriaznivý.
− Spoločná kuchyňa nie príliš čistá, veľmi slabo vybavená. V kúpeľni mal byť podľa fotografií paraván - nebol.

Very convenient for central station with fun little ferry ride. Don’t expect a modern hotel feel!
8.0Handy location for Amsterdam central station : free ferry from back of station (every few minutes) then 10-12 mins walk. Feels calmer than city centre and yet very close. Fridge in room and shared kitchen available.
− Lot of stairs up to room. Building a little bit ramshackle. Cafe Modern has multi-course menu, so not really suitable for a casual meal (there are other restaurants nearby)

10.0The room was very spacious, bright, beautifully decorated. The kitchen was also accesible, well equipped and clean. From there you can easily get to the ferry and from there anywhere you need, or walk to one of the metro stations.
− I didn't realize there will be quite a few stairs, it might be difficult if you bring large luggage. But not impossible :), just something to keep in mind.

7.0The location is a 7-minute walk from the ferry terminal at Amsterdam Central Station. It’s actually in the perfect location—close to the city center, yet situated in the quieter northern part of the city, which feels much cleaner. It almost feels like a completely different city. The room is spacious and bright. Although the vintage furniture is beautiful and full of character, it does have an old, musty smell. The biggest issue was the smell coming from the bathroom. Even with the window left open all the time, it was almost impossible to stay in there because of the odor. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. If they could fix the bathroom odor and improve the cleaning, making it more thorough instead of just superficial, this would be a perfectly acceptable place to stay.
