Very loud and no issues solved

The location is central

− The property I booked on booking did not look like the pictures. They have several apartments and they give you one. I did not get the one I booked. When we arrived, they gave us keys for front door of building. The front door did not lock and therefore we had to open an issue. The latch on door very old and the door too, you just push and it opens. This was never fixed as people throughout the week were coming in and out of building with no key. We did not feel safe. Very loud building with neighbours coming in at 2 am, 3 am and 5 in the morning. Also, the day before we left there was no hot water. Again I had to open an issue. We all had to take cold showers. Next day same thing, with no news from management. To add to the stress, the night before leaving at 4:30 am several guys were screaming outside our appt and tried to open our door. We did not sleep all night after this. Very terrible experience! When I tried to call the emergency number they gave me in a link they provided, it did not work. I could not wait to leave this apartment!

Great Location But Definitely Lacking

Excellent location, Sant Antoni is a perfect area to stay, close to everything Barcelona has to offer!

− The stay started off on the wrong foot. When we arrived the AC was not working, we had conflicting information from the management company. Although 3 fans were supplied it wasn’t comfortable. The next morning there was no hot water in the en-suite and the guest shower drain was plugged and overflowed into the bathroom and hallway. After I went to the management office I was told that the owner had arranged for the AC to be fixed as well as the other issues. Later in the afternoon the maintenance men arrived and took about 3 hours but they managed to fix everything. For a flat used as a longer term rental, it wasn’t provisioned well: no extra pillows, lack of adequate cooking utensils, no dish washing liquid and lack of manuals or information on how things work (washer, stove, etc).The lack of extra seating (except dining room chairs) other than a very low and very uncomfortable couch made for an difficult seating situation, especially with 4 people. Be aware that the elevator is tiny and can only take one person and maybe a piece of luggage at a time. The stairs can be taken but they are in an old building and can be tricky.

− 물을 조금만 틀어도 거실 화장실 하수구에서 물이 역류해서 샤워를 하기가 힘들었습니다..화장실이 물바다가 되는 경험을 했습니다. 빠른 개선일 필요해보입니다

Just to be fair & honest the location of the apartment is nice though.

− We had a very poor experience. The apartment has a broken air conditioning, even though they promised to fix it—and they never did. In addition, the AB Centric Universitat office is only a rental agent. They handle the booking, but they don’t actually provide support or services. If you need anything, they must contact the apartment owner and then follow up with you, which makes the process slow and frustrating. The building has an elevator but the capacity is for one person only and the stairs are extremely narrow. Overall, we do not recommend this accommodation.

Amplio pero necesita mantenimiento

Los dos baños son lo mejor del departamento; han sido reformados. El tamaño y la iluminación natural de la habitación principal. La cocina es amplia con dos encimeras. Tiene buenos utensilios si prefieres cocinar.

− El edificio no está bien mantenido; ni al llegar ni a la salida funcionó el ascensor para subir maletas, y las escaleras son pequeñas y deformadas por el uso, lo que las hace algo peligrosas. Durante la estancia tuvimos varios episodios en los que personas querían ingresar al departamento porque la señalización no era clara (piso y número). El piso de la cocina-comedor del departamento ya está roto, lo que deteriora la impresión de buen mantenimiento. Los muebles son de baja calidad y ya están muy usados. La limpieza puede ser mejor. Salvo el dormitorio principal, los otros dos no tienen luz natural y son pequeños. Las sábanas podrían ser de mejor calidad.
