− Μύριζαν οι αποχετεύσεις παρά πολύ και δεν μπορούσα να ανοίξω το παράθυρο γιατί το διαμέρισμα είναι ΥΠΟΓΕΙΟ που σημαίνει κάτω από το επίπεδο του δρόμου. Δυστυχώς περπατούσαν στους τοίχους ζωντανές κατσαρίδες. Και κάποιες ψόφιες

Very disappointing and obscenely uncomfortable.

The house appeared to be clean on the surface and the location was great— we wanted to stay in Eigalio to be near family and the property was very close to stores, the Main Street, park, and public transport.

− The worst problem we encountered was the air conditioning— it was over 90 degrees F (about 34C) in Athens and the AC only cooled down a small portion of the bedroom; the rest of the house was as hot as the outside. The heat, combined with a very uncomfortable bed left us sleepless for the entirety of our stay. It should not be advertised that the property has air conditioning when it only has the means to cool down a VERY slim portion of the house while the rest is still incredibly hot, especially considering the fact that the owners are likely fully aware of the Athens heat. Furthermore, the heat and lack of ventilation created a mold problem in the shower. We also discovered that the walls were harboring termites when they started coming out of holes in the ceiling outside of the bedroom and onto my clothes. The WiFi also did not work for two days of our trip, and the property contact said it was “out of his hands” and refused to address the issue; we were left unable to do work or even watch TV to distract us from the heat. Lastly, the property contact/owners were INCREDIBLY unresponsive and unwilling to cure any problems we informed them about.
