L'emplacement géographique était un critère de sélection de cet appartement.

− Bien que l'on ait régulièrement averti de notre heure d'arrivée, nous avons dû attendre notre hôte 45 minutes devant l'immeuble. Notre hôte nous explique en anglais approximatif ( il ne parle pas italien !) qu'il faut attendre un de ses collègues qui a les clés et des outils pour réparer une fuite d'eau dans l'appartement. 15 minutes plus tard arrivent deux collègues en scooter. Nous pouvons enfin monter à l'appartement. Ce que nous découvrons est consternant : l'appartement est large comme un couloir et en forme de L. Les photos de l'annonce sont trompeuses. Appartement très bas de plafond. Une chaleur étouffante. Notre hôte s'empresse de mettre en marche un climatiseur d'appoint totalement inefficace. On comprend que la climatisation principale ne fonctionne pas. Un des lits est fait sous nos yeux. Un des employés répare la fuite sous l'évier de la cuisine. L'autre débouche l'évacuation de la douche qui dégage une odeur nauséabonde. Dans cette douche minuscule se trouve le WC ! Au-dessus de ce WC on découvre une prise électrique !! Les normes de sécurité ne sont pas respectées. Notre hôte nous demande de lui payer la taxe de séjour. Dans un premier temps nous lui donnons pour les 3 Jours prévus. Mais au vu de la situation (autour de 35°C dans l'appartement, problème de conformité de la salle de bain), nous faisons le constat que nous ne pourrons pas séjourner correctement dans cet appartement. L'heure étant trop tardive ( 9PM passée ), nous décidons de ne rester qu'une nuit et de demander le remboursement des deux dernières nuits. Notre hôte interroge son patron par téléphone. Le patron refuse de nous rembourser. Seule la taxe des deux dernières nuits nous est rendue après insistance. Après une nuit épouvantable (32°C relevés au petit matin), nous partirons le lendemain matin trouver à nos frais un établissement digne de ce nom.

− Oltre ad un'attesa di quasi un'ora sull'orario di check-in concordato, l'appartamento è deludente per l'organizzazione degli spazi e per le condizioni in cui versa: scarsa igiene e trascuratezza. Abbiamo trovato diverse cose guaste: il bagno, con doccia a pavimento su wc e senza bidet, con lavabo esterno su disimpegno, è sguarnito delle minime dotazioni necessarie, tipo portasapone, porta carta igienica e gancio per telo. Inoltre, lo scarico della doccia era intasato, impedendo all'acqua di fluire, e allagando il bagno; in cucina, lavabo guasto e stoviglie sporche; nella casa, l'unica fonte di climatizzazione è un refrigeratore scarsamente efficace ed estremamente rumoroso, proprio attaccato al letto e che impedisce l'apertura dell'unica finestra presente nell'appartamento. Il caldo era insopportabile. Sembra di "dormire" in una sala macchine di una nave! Purtroppo il nostro soggiorno è stato fortemente disagiato.

I loved staying here, it’s in prime location and was easy to check in with the host. Would stay again!

The location of the property is amazing! Great area to walk around see all the popular sites. Great food options around as well.

− This was by far the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. Before arriving, I contacted the host multiple times through Booking.com and provided our arrival time on several occasions. Despite this, when we arrived we struggled to find the entrance and spent around 20 minutes calling the numbers provided, none of which were answered. Once we finally found the property, we were told nobody was there to let us in due to traffic. After travelling for 11 hours, we had to wait in a nearby café. We were eventually let in around 1.5 hours after check-in time. The apartment looked nothing like the photos. The listing showed a small but charming apartment with a separate bedroom and living area. In reality, it was dark, dirty, and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, we were told the apartment had not even been cleaned yet. The bedding was stained and dirty, there was broken glass on the wardrobe, the window was taped up and mouldy, the bathroom was unclean, and the overall condition of the property was unacceptable. The representative who met us told us he would never stay there himself and said other guests had also complained about the condition. When I contacted the owner to request a refund, he became dismissive and eventually hung up on me. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from a woman claiming to be from Booking.com. The representative later told my parents this woman was actually the owner's wife, which added further confusion and stress. We felt so uncomfortable that we booked alternative accommodation at additional expense. The situation is still ongoing. Despite providing evidence and raising a formal dispute with Booking.com, we have not received a refund because the property has failed to engage with the dispute process. We are still fighting to recover our money. This was a special family trip for a significant birthday and it caused considerable stress, expense and disruption. The photos do not accurately represent the property at all.
