Quirky, different with everything we needed except adequate air con for a heatwave
8.0Great location and a different experience than just staying in a hotel
− We were there during a heatwave. The small portable air conditioner was totally inadequate to cope with heat and the sealing of windows and protection from sun needed to be improved. Access into the accommodation was precipitous but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing stay on this wonderful houseboat
9.0The houseboat was lovely, and Freddy was a great host from before we got to Amsterdam to the moment we left. We absolutely loved being so close to the Jordaan district and Amsterdam Centraal station and made the most of this. The houseboat was more spacious than we expected, and included plenty of handy amenities like cups, plates, microwaves and multiple power outlets.
− The bathroom was perhaps a tad small, but had everything we needed. The dutch toilet was "interesting" to get used to, but worked perfectly otherwise.
Great place to stay in Amsterdam if you want a decent place to stay with everything you need.
