Good location, modern clean feel!

− They need to get aircon in that second bedroom, it was unbearable to sleep in, the fan did nothing and we slept awful. The stairs up were also hard and the code provided didn’t work two times. They did help very quickly which was nice and was a nice vibe but 100% needs another air con unit.

The apartment was beautiful, featuring a mix of modern and traditional Spanish décor which I loved , beds huge and comfortable, the main bedroom alone had 2 double beds where me and my family of 4 slept every night we barely used the other 2 bedrooms , it also has a beautiful balcony that overlooks the lively street , location was decent most famous destinations like sagrada or arc de triomf were 14-17mins walk away , the house is located in what seems to be a a non-touristy area, meaning no tourist scam prices. There are plenty of genuine local cafés and restaurant/supermarkets nearby, and a Mercadona supermarket is just a 2-minute walk away , I booked this house only a couple of days before my flight when I was stressed cause everything good was outsold so I’m grateful for this

− No AC in the Barcelona in the middle of July is a deal breaker for me , there was only one in the main bedroom and it didn’t function at all even turned on to its highest (30) , coming back home from hours of walking in the sun the weather inside the house didn’t feel much different , the balcony door of the main bedroom was broken and couldn’t close, leaving it wide open all night felt unsafe and we’ve had to deal with a lot of noise due to that , The appliances were completely useless. The microwave was unplugged and had to be awkwardly moved on top of the glass stove to reach an outlet. The stove itself didn't work, and the oven had no wire racks inside, making it impossible to heat up food. The toilet and bathroom are seperated , toilet was at the very back of the apartment in a tiny, cramped enclosure where your head practically touches the sink and you mostly had to leave the door open.

− Муравьи бегали на кухне. Кондиционер был только в одной комнате. Стиральная машина не работала. Неудобно подниматься с чемоданами на 4-й этаж, очень узкая лестница.

Situated near the center, but not completely hygenic.

The apartment was located in a great area. It was close to the Plaça Catalunya and the Casa Batlló. It’s also nearby many delicious restaurant and brunch places.

− Prior to arriving at the location, we weren’t informed that the apartment was situated on the third floor. There is no elevator and the staircase is narrow and winding. Additionally, during our stay there was a huge ant problem. There were ants all over the kitchen and also the living room. The host didn’t do anything when we told them.
