We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Athens and had a really pleasant stay. Checking in was easy, as was finding the apartment. While small, it had everything we needed including a little cooking area, a fridge, a sofa, a laundry machine and a few snacks left behind. The location was also excellent. We preferred staying here over the Plaka as it was 1. less trafficked, and 2. a bit more of an authentic neighborhood with real shops, restaurants and bars. There is an excellent gyro/souvlaki place just down the street towards the city centre that we stopped at each day. They were the best we had in 3 weeks in Greece. It was called To Prodorpion. Communication with the owners was also easy, though we didn't really need anything. The apartment has clearly been renovated recently so everything is quite new and works well.

− Our stay was great and we had no issues but three things did jump out at us as minor items. The bathroom shower screen is not long enough so water does end up all over the floor. The slanting of the floor also makes it so that it does not go down the drain, so after every shower we needed to kick the water down the drain on the bathroom floor. There is probably a fix for this. Being in the very city centre, it is true that it can be fairly noisy. Earplugs are recommended at night. It would be good if the shades on the windows could be changed for ones that can be slanted to let light in without everybody seeing into the apartment. We could not open them as when we did, every single person walking by the apartment stared inside. Lastly, a drying rack would be helpful. The laundry machine has a drying function but if you want to hang clothes that are delicate or that can't be dried, there isn't much space to do so. All of these were minor and wouldn't impact our desire to stay here. We had a nice visit.

Muy buena ubicación. Había el menaje necesario para poder cocinar, y las sartenes no se pegaban. Atención buena y rápida del anfitrión.

− -Al ser un bajo, se oye mucho la calle, y si te alojas en fin de semana hay mucho ruido hasta tarde y se oye mucho jaleo. -El lavabo es muy pequeño y casi no puedes ni lavarte la cara sin echar agua fuera.

Comfortable, well-located stay in a great area surrounded by cafes and restaurants, with most sights just a 15-minute walk away. Everything worked perfectly, and the owner sent very clear instructions on how to enter the apartment and use everything. They even left snacks and water in the fridge for us — such a thoughtful touch. Excellent value for money. Wonderful apartment, highly recommend!

I loved the ambiance of the room. I love opera and loved the way the apartment was decorated Maria Callas style. The kitchen was super clean, bathroom, living area was clean when I checked in. Close to Monastraki and shopping areas. I also enjoyed walking up to the corner to grab a coffee and breakfast.

− The only thing I didn't like was the noise outside after 11 PM. I am an early riser, and while I slept through it the first night, the noise from the kids woke me up at 3:00 AM on the second night. I eventually managed to fall back asleep.
