Beautiful apartment, terrible check-in management

The apartment is really beautiful: clean, well-maintained, cozy, and with an amazing terrace overlooking the Sagrada Família. Everything worked very well, including the air conditioning, and we also really appreciated the fridge, which was perfect for keeping cold drinks and fresh snacks after long days spent exploring the city. From the accommodation point of view, we were very happy with our stay.

− Unfortunately, the experience was negatively affected by a terrible check-in management process, which was stressful, very confusing, and frustrating. Before arrival, we had problems with the online check-in and the tourist tax payment: the website would not let us complete the process even though we had filled in everything correctly. We explained the issue several times in detail, but we kept receiving unhelpful replies or repeated requests to “try again,” as if the issue was our fault. Our explanations, requests for alternative payment methods, and even our proposal to pay upon arrival were completely ignored: we continued receiving insistent reminders to complete the procedure before arriving at the apartment. Once we arrived, we were told that someone would arrive in about 20 minutes to give us the keys. We therefore waited outside the building without any instructions about which intercom or floor to contact. After more than an hour of waiting, several unanswered messages, and multiple phone calls with no response, we were asked in a rather passive-aggressive way why we had not rung the bell, even though nobody had ever told us which apartment or intercom to use. It was very disappointing to waste so much of our stay because of unclear communication and responses that seemed more focused on shifting responsibility than actually helping. Clear instructions or simply giving us a realistic arrival time would have avoided the whole situation. That said, the woman who eventually gave us the keys was very kind and sincerely apologized for what happened. Unfortunately, nobody had informed her that we had already been waiting downstairs for more than an hour. She was also the only person who acknowledged that the online check-in system was actually not working and helped us solve everything with patience and kindness. It’s a shame she was not the person managing the booking.

Amazing view of Sagrada Familia from this 9th floor balcony. Comfortable bed, and everything we needed for our stay.

− Just the noisy neighbour. Arrives home late at night and bangs the door shut.

Ubicación perfecta, apartamento muy cómodo, limpio, y con esa vista privilegiada, cerca de todo, y con una amabilidad de parte de quien nos recibió que fue lo que completo la maravillosa experiencia.

location and the terrace view is perfect, that's worth it.

− the quilt is too thick for this season, it makes me too hot even with air-condition on, should be prepared a thin one for the summer.

バルコニーからサグラダファミリアがとても綺麗に見えます。 サグラダファミリアまで歩いて6分ほどなのでとても動きやすく、周りにお店もたくさんあります。スタッフも和やかでいい人です。 キッチン用品なども必要なものは清潔に揃っていました。

− これは海外が大体そうなのかもしれないけれど、お湯が出る量が決まっているかもしれず、長くお湯を使い続けると一定期間でなくなります。 お気をつけて。 スリッパ、パジャマはありません。日本から行く場合はスリッパを忘れずに。 扉の鍵が壊れないか心配でした。
