8.0Great location. Very well designed use of space and sensitive renovation.
− No aircon first 12/16 hours Maintenance arrived to fix (unrequested) without ID or prior warning. This felt instrusive and slightly unsafe to let them access the property.
A Pleasant Stay in Barcelona

− Nothing, maybe a minor complaint on the size of the lift but given we were on the 2nd floor I'd say that's a super minor issue.

10.0Beautiful apartment, modern amenities in a classic setting. Great location, easy to get everywhere in Barcelona from this location. Could not have chosen a better location for me and for my family.
− The stairs in the building to get up to the apartment were many. We were in unit 2, which is actually the 3rd floor of the building. While there is an elevator, it's really just for luggage and not for people.
Great apartment in the Gothic Quarter.
9.0Great location in the Gothic Quarter. Very clean and up to date decor. Daniel and Moises from the rental property were very responsive and quickly helped me re-book the reservation that had been cancelled (see "What didn't you like?" question).
− The registration process could be more efficient. Normally when making a reservation through Booking.com, the registration and payment is made directly through Booking.com. While it appeared I was done after making the reservation on Booking.com, the rental property had additional steps that required me to register and add payment details again through a link they provided me. Because this wasn't explained on the Booking.com site when I made the reservation, I subsequently missed the additional email from the rental property and they cancelled my reservation after a 24 hour period. I only learned of this within hours of my arrival and I had to scramble to re-book the reservation.
Highly recommend for a first time visitor to Barcelona
10.0The location was perfect for us to walk to many of the sights in Barcelona that we wanted to see with many restaurants and shops nearby.

Please note that apartments offer extra cleaning during the stay, There are two types:
- Extra cleaning: 50€ (floors, dusting and bathrooms).
- Extra cleaning + laundry: 75€ (floors, dusting and bathrooms with change of bed linen and towels).
For amounts over €6,000, payment will be made by bank transfer.
