8.0The hostel was spotless, and the staff were super friendly, polite, and professional. A great perk is that for an extra 10€, you can leave your backpack at reception and use the hostel facilities until 10:00 PM, which is brilliant if you have a late flight
− Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the other guests in the room. People were scruffy and messy making it feel more like a makeshift shelter than a proper hostel.

− the vibes were messy in all aspects. the showers/ bathrooms and everything seemed like they were rarely cleaned and very outdated and crusty. the rooms were very unnecessarily cold.

Alternative Creative Youth Hostel Barcelona reserves the right of admission. A €20 deposit per guest is required at check-in. You can pay by cash or credit card, and it will be refunded at check-out. Tip: Paying in cash is faster, as credit card refunds may take a few days to appear in your account—even though we process them immediately. Guests are required to provide their estimated arrival time before check-in. If no arrival time is communicated, the reservation may be considered a no-show and automatically canceled at midnight on the day of arrival. The property has no sign on the outside. Please ring the green bell at number 17 and go up to the 1st floor by pressing E in the elevator.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
