Good location with more local feels.
9.0The location of the hotel is very convenient with easy access to the bus and the MRT. Parkway Parade mall is just across the street. The room is cleaned everyday. A lot restaurants and hawkers are also available within the vicinity. The beach is in close proximity (albeit I wouldn't advise to swim). The feel of the area is more local as it is in the east coast and many choices of Peranakan food around.
− The breakfast in the restaurant is quite limited though they try to blend in some varieties (ie. Western, Local, and Japanese). The choices are somewhat mediocre. Staffs at the reception area are quite cold, however, the housekeeping staff are very nice. There is also a strong pungent smell at the lobby area where the reception is located which smells more like a sewage.

9.0Handily positioned within Katong and all amenities including subway and local park. Apartment was clean and tidy and pool was a welcome relief from the humidity.
