10.0As it was my first time in Madrid, the location was perfect! Minutes walk to Salamanca, and lots of fantastic bakeries round the corner. The staff were super helpful and the room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Given we travelled in one of the hottest summers, the air-con was fantastic and was a life saviour!

8.0Great location near two metro stations. Comfortable bed, quiet room. Most hotels of this standard provide a bottle of water in the room but only available through the mini bar in this hotel. The breakfast room is a bit disappointing. Reasonable selection but the layout seems a bit chaotic, especially when it's busy. The snack bar has a good selection at reasonable prices. The waiter/waitress works very hard though, covering the bar, food and room service. That can lead to a long wait. Would be useful if another staff member could step in to help out at busy times.
