8.0The location is very good and easy to get to other places in New York. It also has many restaurants, cafes, grocery stores nearby. The room is also big enough, kitchen okay, and we got room with sofa which very nice.
− Housekeeping is only done after 10 days (previously informed every 7 days) and only after we requested several times But that ia not really a problem because I can get supply of fresh towel, toilet paper easily. The big problem is the wifi connection is really really very bad. I can't get TV working because wifi is very slow and also mobile phone connection can not rely on wifi.

A great location for NY and I would stay here again!
9.0The front desk staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I was really appreciative of this. I had a studio and that was comfortable and had everything I needed. I also was appreciative of the washer/dryers in the building. Also the ladies who perform housekeeping were really friendly and efficient.
− The Wifi, particularly in the evenings was really subpar. I am not sure what was happening but every evening it seemed to just fluctuate so much that it was not worth using. I utilised my own broadband via a hotspot. My room was long and narrow and had only one window which made it quite dark.
While it may seem off the beaten path, it is a very convenient place to stay.
9.0I liked the 1 bedroom that I was in as it had lots of windows and was very well laid out. This was my second time at the Beekman and so I was also appreciative of the staff at the Front Desk who were kind enough to hold onto to one of my bags between my stays which was very helpful for me. Finally when I first stayed there I was worried about making my way around the city as the hotel is on 49th and 1st but I found that the subway was a 10 minute walk and within 20-30 mins I could be in Greenwich Village so it was very convenient.
− The WiFi on my first visit to the Beekman (August 6-20) would decrease in effectiveness in the evenings for some reason. However on my second visit it was much better.
