If I had known all the problems with booking this apartment through this companyi would have avoided

It was nicely decorated and in a good location for our group as a friend lives locally in that area of Barcelona

− The company bombard you with messages prior to arrival to get information, they force you to sign a contract which is outside a general contract you would sign for a 4 day accommodation. They were very unclear about check in times and made an error after telling me they were able to let my friend who lived locally check us in and then changed their mind. Because of that I arrived 10 minutes after their states check in window and they charged 30 euros for that. Again they sent constant messages whilst on holiday asking for payment rather than waiting to collect it at the end. The lady who checked us in was very stand off ish and rude, I was surprised as it had been their error around check in so expected them to be apologetic or at the very least friendly however she was rude to me and my partner. The apartment was very poorly maintained and I had an injury because of a broken piece of furniture, they refused to take any accountability for the injury because they force you to sign your rights away in their contract - book with caution!!

Professionally managed and very responsive agency. Easy access to all parts of city Good restaurants near by Spacious Appartment but very old

− - they take 500 in advance deposit for a very old Appartment ( keeps you nervous all the time). - the study - the floor has caved in - we avoided to use the study - the thermostat was not working and heating in the hall was not great ( we could m not using that space at all as it was too cold ) - not enough utensils in kitchen ( if you plan to cook - you will miss pots and pans) - tiles are broken at multiple places - no ventilation in the bathrooms

property was in great location which I know . very spacious and quiet been on top floor . comfy beds . nice layout . needs some things sorting .

− on entry found broken glass by washing machine , small amount , dusty dirty by toilet in ensuite . had to clean this . 2nd night found 2 cockroaches . really bad damp smell from ensuite bathroom . both bathrooms need extractor fans . paint on walls in 2 bedrooms really bad only got half way upthe wall . 2 dangerous broken floor tiles in salon room and tiles in kitchen also raised . front door keys really stiff needed to lift and twist each time on entry . toaster didnt work and coffee pot leaks . I was celebrating my 60th with friends whom I was treating . one of whom is blind with a guide dog so wanted it safe and special .

Awful if you are considering for WMC in Barcelona !

Property is in good location

− Upon our arrival to BCN we took a taxi with our luggages to collect the keys from an office at 3pm and after collecting the keys, I had to take the taxi again to the appt.. not practical at all. Only to find out that the appt. was not cleaned and it stinks . I had to wait till 5PM for the cleaning to get done. After more than 10h of flight this was not a pleasant way to start our stay in Barcelona. Property management apologized and quickly offer to compensate but never brought the subject again or offered anything during our stay. 2 days later, no hot water in the appt. property management said that they will send a maintenance guy to fix the problem. We could not wait, as we had our meetings set for the World Mobile Congress (WMC). But, they could have sent someone anyway to check on the boiler/hot water tank, regardless whether I was available in the appt or not. I was on a tight schedule for the WMC and had little time to coordinate with technicians. This should have been coordinated with property management directly and not with the client. Instead they did not fix it and we stayed without hot water for the remaining of our stay. This is my 9th WMC in Barcelona and by far this the most awful experience I had with a property management YOUSTYLISH.COM. If you are coming for the WMC, check somewhere else. For the money that you pay during this event, the least is to have the basics secured. Building outdated, The location is great !
