Bad Hotel, Bad Location, Bad Overall
2.0I do not recommend this place to anyone. 1) The bed is very uncomfortable 2) Sewer gas smell is seeping through the sink. I had to cover the drain with a towel so the smell doesn't come through. 3) The hotel smells like cigarette. The old man in the front desk smoke and his cigarette can be smelled all the way to the second floor. I had to put a towel at the bottom of the door to trap the smell from coming into the room. 4) This place is situated in a ghetto area of Paris.

8.0Metro station was outside the door. Ahmad on reception was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Double room was clean and shower was very good. I can't think of any bad things to say as it was very good value for the price. And Sacre Couer and Montmartre were right around the corner.

2.0I believe I have already contacted Wotif about receiving a full refund for my booking here. My plan was to stay at Hotel Montpellier for 3 nights but I checked out after only 2 hours due to a number of issues. This hotel featured shared bathroom facilities. The room itself no bathroom, hot water, fridge, kettle, heater, safe or carpet. It measured maybe 3 metres long by 2 metres wide and felt like a prison cell rather than adequate accommodation. There was also a one inch between the floor and the bottom of the door so either a draft came through or you could easily hear what was going on outside (or both). I would like a full refund here given that I checked out after only 2 hours at this place. Please contact me if you have further questions. Thanks, Matt

4.0This hotel was more like a hostel and did not have private bathrooms. Though the service was good and the rooms/bathrooms were adequately clean, it was in an area that felt rather unsafe

6.0This is a typical tiny little european hotel. It's in a brilliant location. The bed linen and towels were disgusting and need replacing but other than that it was fine.
