Quirky building, great location
7.0This hotel was in a great location for everything we wanted to see. It’s a grade one listed building of several joined together, very interesting with beautiful high ceilings. Our room was on the top floor, it was clean. The shower was good and the bed was very comfortable, really great pillows. The staff are all very pleasant, they could store our luggage before check-in and after checkout. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay.
− It’s a grade one listed building of several joined together, there is no lift and it’s quite higgledy-piggledy, some might not like this if you had large luggage. The chair in our top floor room was very tatty but they didn’t have a replacement. The sink could only drain very slowly and the toilet was not great. The carpet needs replacing and the other furniture was tired.
Perfect for one night at a reasonable cost.
9.0Location was good for night at The Palladium. Breakfast was adequate for the price. Also good shower the bathroom looked newly done. Comfortable bed and enough hanging and drawer space.
− We were locked out of room before we had left which was a bit annoying.
Not going there again!
3.0− No lift at hotel, we were on the second floor, my daughter has arthritis throughout. No offer of help with bags. Would not give us any more than four of the tiny milk pots for three people- refused point blank, to give us any more!
