6.0Pros: the location is quiet and great for a slower pace. There is a convenience store 2 minutes walk and the train station is about 4min walk. There are restaurants around the neighborhood, bars, and shopping. Cons: No washcloths, no space in room for suitcases, no seating or chairs in room, no staff available just a phone number, no changing of linen during stay or cleaning during stay (we stayed 6 days). There are clean towels available daily which was a plus and a full length mirror. Would I stay again, no, however this would be a good fit for a backpacking person that needs little space and laundry. Would not recommend with children under 7/8. Also NO ELEVATOR, just as a heads up.

8.0Great location, comfortable bed. It is cramped, but it’s a hostel after all. I’d stay again if I return to Tokyo. I needed assistance checking in and was not able to reach a staff member at the phone number provided. Fortunately one of the travelers in our group figured out a solution. I was disappointed in the lack of customer service.
Good to know
The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
