Amazing Apartment in Brilliant Barcelona

The apartment exceeded our expectations. 3 bedrooms were on the ground floor with bathroom and open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The table extends with more chairs available from the laundry room. Very modern with rustic touches, classy but comfortable. The 4th bedroom is on first floor accessed by lift or outside steps that you also use to access the terrace. The upstairs bedroom has an ensuite with door onto the terrace. The terrace is overlooked on all sides by high rise blocks of flats but the bamboo screens and canopy make it feel more private. We enjoyed drinks up there even in march. Super cool cube light. The apartment is on a private road accessed via a metal gate so very safe. 6 min walk to ! Sagrada Família. We visited twice, go back in the evening to see it lit up, especially the lakeside view. Aldi 2 minutes walk. We used Cabify and Freenow app for taxi's, good value. Very clean place. Kitchen had everything we needed but couldn't find a chopping board. We didn't actually cook a full meal but you could easily. Extremely comfy beds. Light but snuggly duvets. Pillow hard for me as memory foam. Friends liked them. Hosts reply instantly to questions. We couldn't have asked for more. Well worth the money.

It was on a private road and everything was well-thought out. It had an elevator which was handy for luggage. The host was great and gave good advice. The outdoor space was really big and comfortable.

Perfect spot in the middle of Barcelona with great A/C in the hot weather... Plus great hosts!

The villa had absolutely all the facilities anybody could need and was very well decorated and chic, plus in a great central location. The A/C was extremely effective during the hot weather and the dishwasher helped us greatly with staying tidy after feeding a family! Cesc and Marta even left out toys for us since we told them we had a baby with us. Really top notch hosts who thought of everything! I was very impressed and hope we can go back one day!

The house is in an alley closed to the traffic. This allowed our children to play in front of the house. THere is also an elevator to the upstair room, which fitted the push chair. Wonderful aircon, which came in handy on a very hot week in barcelona. Unfortunately, due to the high temperatures, we couldn´t use the terrace.

− I would suggest putting a fan in the terrace, for the very hot days in Barcelona. Everything else was very, very good.
