Despite the not very inviting front door and steps up to the apartment, it was a lovely surprise to see the apartment. Spotlessly clean, great location, very very comfortable beds, pillows and duvets, very efficient heating, excellent communication with the host, including reporting a broken bottle opener to find a new one the following morning. The area is great, with lots of eating options, supermarkets, interesting shops. Would definitely return and recommend.

− The front door and communal stair case look a little uninviting and run down, the stairs are old and a bit wonky for my 85 year old mother in law! And dark, if you can't find the light switch!!!

Well located to walk to important sites in Barcelona. Although dated and a little rundown, a very nice layout and reasonably well equipped. Managers provided a couple missing kitchen items within 24 hours.

− Needs some renovation or repair to justify its price. There is damage on the kitchen floor and cooktop. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked. The foyer to the building was badly damaged and tiles on the stairs up to the apartment were missing or loose. Perhaps the foyer and stairs are difficult for the apartment owners to control, but the first impression of the property is not favourable.
