Great 2 weeks in Akabane
9.0The property was clean and tidy on our arrival. Entering the property was well set out by our hosts. The property had a nice bath with a wet room and the shower was great. Two double beds and unusually a bathroom sink in the living area, but this turned out to be a bonus as one of us could shower whilst the other used the sink. Being able to wash clothes and towels with a washing machine on the balcony was also great as was being able to air dry them. The balcony also had a view of the Tokyo Sky Tree in the distance which was a bonus. The property was situated in a very quiet residential area with not much traffic. Akabane though is a great place to visit and we enjoyed eating out and drinking in a number of establishments.
− Whilst the walk from Akabane Station was not overly long, the last part was uphill and made taking large pieces of luggage in and out somewhat difficult (we used a taxi). The most challenging aspect was negotiating the 2 flights of stairs with heavy luggage.
