Nice location, reasonable interior, but LOUD

The location of the property is excellent. We loved going to the nearby Montjuic park which was only a 10 minute walk and there are plenty groceries stores and restaurants/takeout everywhere around the property. A walk to the beach is manageable, but best not to start in the midday heat. The interior of the Apartment is cozy and well picked, no complains here. The A/C is a nice feature, but please be careful when leaving it on overnight. It does not have high/low phases or stuff like that, it just blasts through the whole time at 100% power, which makes it easy to catch a cold over night. Cleanliness was alright, nothing to complain about. The staff agent who checked us in was super friendly and helpful, she gave us a lot of tips what to do in Barcelona (Shoutout to Lindsey)

− I find it really interesting that the owners of this property have a mulitple pages long list about what not to do at the apartment and what you can be fined up to 500 Euros for. Disrespecting neighbors, loud talking/shouting in the staircase, music/parties at night, etc. were all reasons to be fined, but we heard a lot of people talking and shouting in Spanish/Catalan but also English at unreasonable times almost every night, doing exactly what is forbidden in that meter long house rule list. Like I remember one night when I stayed in the apartment the whole day, because I got a cold from the A/C, I was trying to sleep at 10pm but I could not fall asleep, because of constant loud noise in the staircase and had to stay awake until 3am. I lost my earphones on the first day on the way to the apartment and it turned out to be the most devastating loss at the most devastating time, because I had trouble sleeping every night in this apartment without them. Drunk (and I guess sometimes also sober) people came into the apartment building at least every hour at night, even at times like 2/3/4/5am. I had to go buy earplugs in a pharmacy, because the apartment is also very very poorly sound proofed, which makes the staircase noise issue even worse. When inside two of the bedrooms it sounds like the windows to the staircase are open even if they are fully closed. The street noise on the other side of the apartment (where one bedroom is located) is really loud at all times too, so the lack of sound proofing is an issue in the whole property. So I would only recommend this apartment to groups of people who are partying and/or drinking every night because falling asleep here is a real challenge when you‘re sober and have nothing to plug your ears with

great location, close to and easy to get to most of the city attractions. Good apartement for two people. Lots of caffes and restorants and places for breakfast that are walking distance. Bus stop and metro station are in front of the building.

− Really small bathroom and shower, and not that comfortable apartment for more than 2 people. Small elevator, only for luggage or two people.
