2.0The location is definitely good, few minutes walk from Ryogoku station and a roughly 15 minute walk to Akihabara and Asakusa, we didn't stay long in the apartment though for reasons I will explain in the "What didn't you like" section.
− We pretty much entered the apartment and cancelled the booking, it was quite dirty but most of all dusty, I'm allergic to dust and I really had trouble breathing in it, I don't know if we got unlucky and it wasn't cleaned before our arrival, but we did not have a good experience. Also, cancelling the same day of the arrival, meant that roughly 40% of what we paid is not refunded (fair enough in normal circumstances), but given our situation I tried asking the owner for a full refund, and they replied saying that they would have contacted me the day after, now, I guess it was already around 17:00pm and maybe they didn't have the time to deal with it, but, if I had waited for the next day to cancel, I would have paid full price so I cancelled anyway. I didn't get contacted the following day. I think and hope that the owner couldn't contact me through booking since I already cancelled, and was nothing malicious, but do with that info what you will...
Overall a decent stay but some things should be remodeled/revamped.
6.0It was close to the station, family mart, and food. But it was also in a quiet area which was nice after a long day.
− The A/C smelled horrible when we turned it on so we went our entire stay with no A/C. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot on most days. The room didn’t have much ventilation so it felt humid at times. The bathroom also tended to stay very humid and wet after showers. The carpet also had a mildew smell.
