7.0This was surprisingly more spacious than people say in the reviews. The photos dont do it justice. Most hotels I've stayed in within Shinjuku are absolutely tiny with hardly room to open a suitcase. This place has an entry hall, with a separate bathroom and laundry and shower room off the hallway. There is then the main living and bedroom. We were very comfortable here and happily surprised. We also enjoyed the fast elevator which was helpful with bags and pram. Also, the washing machine was fantastic with a small outdoor verandah to hang things to dry.
− A deeper clean would be helpful. There was still quite a bit of hair on the floor but luckily there was a vacuum left in the wardrobe so I could fix it up myself. Similarly there was a very dirty/used sponge left in the kitchen for use, and it was very dirty on the floor around the washing machine. There were no bins at all in the apartment. There were very limited kitchen utensils. Also, some additional pillow cases would have been good as only 2 were provided but 4 were needed. Finally, a few more amenities (e.g. a kitchen towel, a hand towel for bathroom) as only 2 bath towels provided for 2 adults and 1 baby so I had to wash them daily. However, overall would stay again!
