Elegant, painted high ceiling in the spacious main bedroom. Tastefully furnished and in a beautiful palazzo. The art and furniture are good quality and mostly appropriate.

− The list of house rules was offensive. There were no proper coat hangers so I had to buy wooden ones to hang my clothes. A chest of drawers would have been useful as the only drawer storage was in the bedside tables. There is only one shower room for two bedrooms and the third person had to walk through the main bedroom to use it. I suppose that’s ok for a family but more difficult for friends.

− Construction works going on and the lighting wasn’t on late at night when coming back to the apartment

The apartment is in a gorgeous old Venetian building, fairly close to Ferrovia St Lucia, and the ceiling in the largest room and height of the rooms are wonderful. The entrance through courtyards before the 2 flights of access stairs are beautiful and atmospheric.

− The main bedroom has an uncomfortable bed, and sadly has no privacy as those in the second room have to walk through to the bathroom- this could be resolved by using the dining room as bedroom 2 which is also a lovely room, and the main room which feels like a main elegant reception room which has been refurbished returned for communal enjoyment. You will need to take toiletries as very little is provided, and it was quite noisy at night because of drunken tourists at the weekend in the passage way below. The local guide is lovely and helpful, but the owner sent an upsetting rude message in capitals , warning of a late fee and ' you might have to wait outside for many hours if you arrive later than 8pm- we couldn't reach it until 9pm. Sadly disappointed- an expensive location like this would normally be friendly, polite, well equipped, and comfortable.
