missleading picts, host disappeared, Mouldy smell and aircon broken.

location is good, although on the busier part of valencia street.

− We had a terrible arrival, and decided not to stay there more than 2h. Aircon on the living room was not working, making a loud noise, and dripping a lot water, and even the host cleaner said the aircon was broken, changed the towels that were on the floor and added a bucket herself to the corner underneath the aircon machine! The cleaner mentioned it was like that from before!!!!! besides not being told it was on the 5th floor, no lift (OK, my bad), the 2nd bedroom had no lights on ceiling, had no lamps at all. Dirty walls, fan on master bedroom is hazardously hanging. Bathrooms don't lock from inside, for any privacy, and if you are in a group, it might matter. Host disappeared when we tried to talk about air con dripping and malfunctioning. Besides that, through Booking.com they would lie saying we had not contacted them and that aircon was working. They are dishonest, did not refunded me, not even partially, did not discussed it with me at all. Booking.com dispute center tried to reach to them a few times, and they kept saying to them everything was fine, while they didn't answer me. We had to rush to another place and lost a lot of money! Host asked for fee for early check in one hour earlier than expected (fair, but a bit expensive as I was told on the arrival). Run away from SH Apartments barcelona!!!

Buena ubicación

− No tiene ascensor, la tv no funcionó, un bombillo fundido y la puerta del baño no cierra, llamamos y no solucionaron. El olor del baño es muy incomodo

Location

− 24 hours before our arrival we needed to know how we were supposed to get the key to the apartment. We contacted the owner through Booking.com, and he sent us a link where we were supposedly able to check in ourselves and enter our passport details for registration. However, the link was completely non-functional — it simply did not work. We immediately contacted the owner in confusion, but he started ignoring us, pretending that this problem had nothing to do with him. In the same message he also wrote that if we wanted an agent to meet us in person for check-in, we would have to pay an extra €30. This is absolutely unacceptable, because Booking does NOT allow surprise extra fees just to access the accommodation. We were furious. We had to argue with this so-called agent just to get the owner’s number and understand what on earth was going on. In the end, we refused to pay €30 and went to pick up the key ourselves. When we finally entered the apartment on the fifth floor, things only got worse. The apartment — especially the kitchen — was dirty. The coffee machine was moldy, the dishes were greasy and unwashed, and there was no hot water in the shower, which was incredibly upsetting after all the stress we had already experienced. The furthest bedroom with the large bed was freezing cold, even though it was 17°C outside. At night we were literally freezing because the window was faulty and let in a massive amount of cold air. To make matters even worse, some rooms didn’t even have electricity, which is absolutely unacceptable for an apartment that is being rented to guests. We wrote to the owner about all these issues — and once again, he ignored us completely, as if none of this had anything to do with him. We were shocked by such terrible, irresponsible treatment. We will never recommend this place to anyone.
