Pleasant place to stay if you plan to spent most of your time out in the city exploring.

Clean and tidy little apartment. Big enough for what I needed. Good wifi, nice shower, came with everything needed. Big balcony to sit out on. Nice area with bars and cafes right on the door step and a decent supermarket a short walk away. 2 minute walk to the nearest metro and just a 10 minute walk to one of Barca's main train stations. Easy to get to from the airport. Away from all the major tourist sites but quick to get to them.

− Some minor maintenance needed. In the main hall there is a loose cracked floor tile, which could be easily repaired but hasn't been because I've seen older reviews that mention the same thing. There are also a couple of loose floor tiles in the bathroom. The flat is an 'inner' flat, this means one of the windows at the front of the property just looks out to the building central staircase, and the other looks out into a central utility yard, basically where all the down pipes from everybody's bathroom run. The balcony, whilst spacious with plenty of seating, doesn't have much of a view, if you know a bit about how Barcelona is built you'll understand why. Also the table on the balcony was slightly broken, if you lent to hard on the table top it would flip up. Before my stay I was contacted by the management company and offered two options for receiving the key. First was to collect the key from a safety deposit box before going to the flat. Was told this could add up to an hour onto the check in time and would be awkward to do whilst carrying luggage etc. It wasn't, the deposit box was a 15 minute walk from the apartment. If there is more than one of you, you can easily leave somebody in a cafe next to the apartment with the luggage, whilst another person does the short walk (or takes a short taxi ride) to get the key. The second option was to have somebody meet me at the apartment to let me in, give me the keys and show me around, there was a 30 Euro charge for this. Personally I think the management company should just make this the default option and just add the 30 euros to the cost of the apartment, rather than hitting guests with the unexpected additional charge. Finally had a bit of a dispute with the management company over the tourist tax. My friend was not joining me for the whole trip, however they insisted on charging us both the full tourist tax for the entire length of the stay.

− Lámparas que no encendían. Baldosas despegadas. Bide suelto. En ningún momento nos dieron el wifi pese a la insistencia en oficina sH. Responsables en la atención.

The apartment had a decent look to it.

− WIFI didn’t work at all for the entire 5 night stay. Everyday we called and messaged asking to have this resolved with nothing done about it. There is construction behind the balcony with scaffolding as the only view. Lose tiles through out apartment. Bidet in the bathroom isn’t connected in any way so completely useless. There is a 30 euro mandatory “check in fee” not listed on the booking website. Staff completely ignored any request for help to resolve issues.
