Perfect small apartment in best barrio in Barcelona
9.0Fantastic location, nicely remodeled and well-equipped apartment. Absolutely perfect for a couple or business traveler visiting Barcelona.

Nice apartment in great location but service very poor
7.0The apartment has a great location, is well-appointed with a good amount of space and light, and has good facilities within. The kitchen is well-equipped and it was useful to have both a dining table and desk. The online check-in process was also a breeze.
− The air conditioning didn't work, the shower head was broken (no washer joining hose) and neither were fixed after being reported. Communication from the host was poor. To start with, they used *five* channels: Booking, email, SMS, Whatsapp and their own web platform (SH Barcelona). Further, they were also using multiple telephone numbers. This meant a large volume of duplicated messages and confusion about which channel to use. I reported the air conditioning and shower head via Whatsapp and was asked to provide videos there. But the next day I was then told to send them through the Booking platform, which doesn't accept media/files. Further responses were so slow that nothing was resolved before checking out on Monday (after Friday check-in). The hosts also tried to charge me for a manual check-in (not disclosed in their listing) but then provided a link to a free online process upon request.

Getting into the property: Monday to Friday, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for EUR 25.
1) In-person check-in for EUR 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., EUR 50 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and EUR 70 from 11:00 p.m. onwards.
Weekends: EUR 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., EUR 50 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and EUR 70 from 11:00 p.m. onwards.
2) Free self-check-in by collecting the keys from a secure box at Calle Valencia 182.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
