9.0We stayed with our two adult sons for 5 nights. This newer 3 story building has 3 bedrooms and 2 separate toilets and a shower room and was ideal for us. The kitchen living room area is on the second floor. While not expansive, it has adequate space, plenty of opening windows and offers good views of the quiet little local street. The kitchen was fine. My immediate thought when we got out of the taxi from Shinjuku Station was that we were too far removed from the action. After a short walk in the area we realised that we were only a couple of hundred meters from the main street and the more we explored the more we realised that we were in a great spot for us. There are close by 7/11s and Family Marts and bigger supermarkets 10 - 15 minutes walk away and the main street had plenty of restaurants to choose from. The main train station was a good 10 minute walk away which for us was not a problem and the walk was always interesting. We also enjoyed staying in the quiet suburban street and being able to watch the comings and goings. We felt safe walking around during the day and night. Check in and out details were received in a timely manner and the key in the key safe attached to the front door set up worked well (we discovered that there is a top and bottom lock!) We would happily stay there again :):)
