− Had option to collect key foc but was an hour away to collect. 50 euros for them to be dropped!! Decided not to stay. Also was not 2 bed apartment...one bedroom and one main room. Host not helpful and unwilling to refund anything even though description was not accurate

Functional apartment in great location - but only one bedroom

Great location, close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants in Poblenou. Host was very accommodating with our request to drop off our luggage a few hours before the official check-in. Wifi worked well and the apartment was clean and functional.

− The main issue was the surprise to discover on arrival that it was not a two-bedroom apartment as described on Booking.com, but a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room. The description should be updated to reflect the reality. We received a lot of automated messages from the hosts prior to check in, sending us to their own website but mirrored in the chat on booking.com. Some of these messages asked for information we had already provided and generated some anxiety. Having said that, communication with the host prior to arrival was very good. Follow the advice and only answer the messages via booking.com! We thought that providing only one roll of toilet paper for three people for three nights was a bit stingy, and be aware that you will need to buy all other essentials such as salt, coffee, sugar and oil etc. Finally, it was inconvenient only having one set of keys as we had different schedules, but accept that we didn't ask for a second set.

− The misleading description on booking.com we booked it on the basis that it was a two bedroom department for four people three adults and one child but when we turned up it was in fact only one bedroom and one sofa bed for an adult and a child to share, which was not at all acceptable. further the bedding left behind for the sofa bed was absolutely disgusting covered in either face season blood a broken pillow and despite reporting it with photos to the owners they did not do anything to assist or rectify the matter. We then had to make do with another grubby blanket and therefore we were not able to relax and sleep properly due to having to share the lounge as a bedroom. Paragraph the property had not been properly cleaned and there were tiles missing around the bath with sharp edges tiles missing from the bathroom ceiling plastic bag stuck into the air-conditioning unit very dusty and there was not even a tea towel left there for us to dry up dishes. The dish drying rack which was in the cupboard was also filthy dirty which we had to wash before we could use it. One of the dining room chairs was broken as in the seat didn’t fit properly and there was and it was unable to be used Further having had many emails from them to ensure that we checked in on time we gave them full details of our arrival and nevertheless that representative was late to let us in. We had to stand outside for over 30 minutes to get access to the property. they do not answer your emails and there’s no way of contact them apparently it goes via Booking.com and then to the property absolute nightmare. On checkout, we informed them that we would not be paying the over €100 cleaning fee as I think we left the property in a better state than when we turned up
