Nice apartment, clean. We appreciated the self check-in (very easy to us and well explained). Well equipped kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine). Nice sitting area with table, couch, and 4 chairs. We appreciated how easy we could communicate with the host. Centralized AC, very useful for hot summer days. There are 3 supermarkets at less than 5 minutes walking. The railway station and metro are located at 0 minutes walking.

− Thy forgot to leave us hand soap (but brought it the same day we asked for it). When offering apartments so well quipped for short stays (we stayed 6 nights) I consider it is important to provide some consumables (as 1-2 laundry pods, 1-2 dishwasher tablets 1-2 trash bags) or the gusts won't be able to us the facilities. It's not normal to buy a box of 30-40 items when you only use 1-2 in a week. Also it is important to mention that it was requested to take out the garbage so the trash bags were a must to have.

El apartamento está bien ubicado, tiene electrodomésticos nuevos y está todo funcional. La ubicación es buena, relativamente cerca de Atocha y los principales museos.

− El proceso de check in es muy engorroso, con un sistema de check in digital complicado. Me dieron a elegir entre dejar alrededor de 300 euros de garantía o cerca de 30 euros de exención de daños, no reembolsable (...). Durante el proceso me enviaron varios mensajes automáticos que creaban bastante ruido mental, a veces no relacionados con la interacción directa. Tanto el contrato que tuve que firmar a la entrada, como el registro online y el check out, me parecieron una exageración burocrática. Infelizmente, el olor a cañerías es permanente y el precio me pareció excesivo para la calidad. Los colchones son regulares y tuve que dormir con tapones en los oídos, ya que el ruido de la calle empieza temprano. El baño está bien y la sala/cocina/comedor es aceptable.

I’d book again if the unpleasant smell and a/c problems were fixed

Good location. Responsive management.

− There is a peculiar, unpleasant smell in the apartment. The air conditioning unit was working, thankfully, because it was brutally hot during our stay, but the condensate line was leaking into bathroom from the ceiling. Twice during our stay we awoke to water all over the bathroom floor. Management was responsive both times, but told us that they had checked and everything was working just fine. Clearly not, or there wouldn’t have been water in the bathroom. An angry neighbor in the building taped a note to our door complaining about the noise and heat from the a/c unit in the inner patio, stating we were causing harm to the neighbors by letting it run continuously 24/7 and that “esto no es un hotel.” We forwarded that information to management, but don’t know how they handled it. Ironically, we never touched the controls on the a/c unit; we left it set the way it was when we arrived. The a/c unit from this apartment wasn’t making any more or less noise than any of the other units in the building. On the positive side, the apartment was well-furnished (although a few more pillows would’ve been nice) and the cleaning staff was friendly and efficient. The bedrooms both face the street on the first floor, but the windows are double-paned and the noise level didn’t bother us. We travel with a small fan for white noise, and that was enough to block any noise from the street.

La ubicación, la limpieza, un apartamento muy equipado y cómodo. Muy recomendable.

− Bueno, al dar las habitaciones a la calle Delicias se oía el ruido del tráfico pero se dormía bien.
