A great, well-laid-out apartment in a central Barcelona location, although the apartment door could benefit from better

The apartment has an excellent central location in Barcelona, close to the metro and the Sagrada Família, making it easy to explore the city. While the apartment is small, the space was clean and exceptionally well utilized and designed, offering amenities like air conditioning and quality Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee machine, toaster, plates, cups, and frying pans, and also includes a television. Alex was also a very pleasant and nice host.

− I am not giving a higher rating solely because of the door, which does not isolate the sound from the building's entrance hall. The door itself is not soundproof and has significant gaps, which not only reveal light from the hall but also allow all the intense noise—from the street door closing and people talking to footsteps and pets—to enter as if they were inside the bedroom. Given that the apartment is on the ground floor, this issue is particularly noticeable and, coupled with the poor insulation, made it impossible to rest after 6:00 AM, as every sound in the hallway was clearly audible. The apartment door needs to be changed.

L'emplacement est bon et facile d'accès avec les transports en commun

− La qualité générale. L'appartement n'était pas nettoyé, il y avait des moisissures, des cheveux et des araignées. Le matelas était plutôt dur, les fenêtres n'ont pas de vue (elles sont opaques) et l'appartement et au rez, juste à côté de la porte d'entrée principale. Niveau phonique, c'est 0. J'ai quitté l'appartement après moins de 24 heures pour un autre hébergement. Il y a plusieurs bonnes alternatives dans le coin pour des prix similaires. Après signalement à Booking, le propriétaire a refusé de rembourser ne serait-ce qu'un euro et n'a jamais présenté d'excuse.

nice place to rest and a very nice starting point for city exploring. not very clean.

The location of the property is top notch, it’s only a 10-15 min walk to the Sagrada Família and from there on almost every attraction in Barcelona is in walking distance. The little kitchenette is very nice and there is even a microwave. The two seats are very comfortable as well plus there is a mercadona literally 5 min. away.

− The bathroom has a very strong and unpleasant smell and there are lots of (dead) bugs all around. It’s not possible to open the window and it gets quite loud at night as well as in the morning.
