We had a very enjoyable stay in Madrid and some attention to the issues such as the couch would have made it such a bett
5.0Very good location within walkable distance from all main tourist locations and adjacent to the metro. There was great communication from the staff / team. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen met all the basic needs. It was not noisy at night-time.
− There were some shortcomings that if addressed would have made it a 9/10 or 10/10 place to stay. As has been highlighted by previous reviews (as far back as 2023!) the couch badly needs to be replaced as it is not at all comfortable to sit on. An armchair would be welcome to relax on after a sightseeing day. One of the glass shelves in the bathroom was faulty with cracks and an attempted repair with cardboard slips was not the answer - it really should be replaced. The clothes drying rack was also broken and there was discolouration / flaking paint in the bedroom beside the headboard.
