Family vacation and first time in Japan

It was clean and space was good with 2 bedrooms and lounge with kitchen. Close to 2 subway stations, markets and restaurants. You will get everything just a 2-3 min walk away. Staff was very helpful and were quick to reply on our queries. The apartment is overall very good for families and travelling to other parts of Tokyo was easy and convenient since there were subway close by. Apartment itself has all the facilities and we had a comfortable stay and our kids loved it. Would definitely stay again whenever we come to Tokyo.

− No Iron in the apartment, it was a let down since we stayed for more than a week and needed to iron clothes. I think management should consider placing iron in the apartment. Other than that I cannot think of any issues.

Love the location and neighbourhood. Good price for the accommodation.

− Lack of lights and ventilation in basement and bathroom.

− 洗面所が臭かった。排水溝からの臭いがした。 お風呂が狭い。シャンプーなどの置き場がない。

Tokyo location convenience

The location was great and really close to the train station. We appreciated having the 2 bedrooms and access to the washing machine to wash our clothes and dry these on the clothes pegs provided on the balcony in the warm/hot weather. It was also fairly quiet within the accommodation despite properties being on separate floors and lift/elevator access was available which was great for luggage on arrival/departure.

− We were confused by the frequent, almost daily emails, about our upcoming stay - it felt excessive and distracted us from our trip. Also, it was the first time that we had limited options with access to towels. We contacted the host regarding additional bigger towels (one per person) as the Japanese ones and face/hand towels seemed so small. Even more confusing was that one larger towel had been provided onsite but not one per person so we took turns in sharing this! We wondered if a previous guest had bought this! The host declined with providing the 2 additional bigger towels - we didn't think we should have to buy towels! Also, it was not very clean with dust by the beds, skirting boards and on the lounge room rug. Also, all of the crockery was plastic as if it was being used for a picnic. That was disappointing especially as this was the most expensive accommodation of all the places we had stayed at in Japan.

Location is 11/10. Probably the best location, close to many restaurants, many metro stations. Close to the Emperor’s Palace. We booked apartment for a family of four because we couldn’t find hotel room big enough and it was totally fine size-wise. Also staff was very helpful, answering questions day and night.
