Good apartment for a stay in Paris

− Instructions for the required cash deposit could have been provided earlier. Organising check in could have been smoother with slightly better communication
We survived at the apartment, but low expectations are the key.
4.0The location is good. The neighborhood is livable and non-touristic. Many small shops for food and restaurants. Close to several metro stops. Easy access from Orly airport via the 14. There are 3 beds in the apartment.
− There is a ridiculous request for 500 Euros cash at check-in. We weren’t asked for this deposit, which is fortunate, as I would have refused to give cash to anyone. A credit card deposit yes, cash no. There is no help available. The phone number to call is a New York number. When I phoned, no answer. Messages through Booking.com are answered slowly and by someone far away. If you have a problem…good luck! We were given one key, which is needed for both the two building entrance doors and the apartment door. This means that everyone needs to enter/exit together – a major inconvenience. The apartment has no air conditioning and no fans, so if it’s hot expect to be miserable. There is a portable AC unit but it needs to have a door open to vent the hot air through a tube, so it’s highly ineffective (and very loud). There is one toilet and one shower, a potential problem for ≥ 3 people. Overall, the apartment is cluttered with junk and not very clean. The stove top is inductive but most of the pans are not compatible. Our tiny family gets along well so we survived the apartment, but if you’re expecting a 3-star+ experience you will be disappointed.

7.0Sehr attraktive Lage, viele Geschäfte und Lokale in der Gegend, guter Anschluss an Metro und Taxi.
− Die Wohnung ist zu stark und sehr eigenartig dekoriert und zu grell ausgeleuchtet, wurde mit der Managerin besprochen. Richtig wohl gefühlt haben wir uns deshalb nicht.
