− The toilet can’t flash well and the water tank of the toilet is out of order every 2/5 times when flush using larger amount of water. The stove fan is absolutely out of order. The area is amount so many garage like shop, it feels like a residential/factory area. Also the whole apartment needs a new look. Also I’m 5’2 inch, I had difficulty to use the toilet, either I’ll bump my head or sit down on the toilet my knee can touch the wall. The photo is using wide angle. The place is way smaller than I see on it.
If you want experience how it is to live like a local, this place has you covered.
9.0Even though the property is in the Nishiwaseda area, it is very accessible to get to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku and Ginza (via Waseda station and Edogawabashi station). There are also plenty of izakayas and grocery stores around. The neighbourhood is generally quiet, with the occasional car driving past every now and then. The noise was not a disturbance for us, but I would still recommend earplugs if noise is something that could bother you. Like most apartments in Tokyo, even though you could fit six people in there, 3-4 is the optimal amount of guests. This is taking into account that each person will at least have one suitcase. For our trip, it was spacious enough. Our host Daisuke was super welcoming and very quick to respond to our questions. Could not have asked for a better host!
− We sometimes hit our heads on the hanging lamp closest to the bathroom/kitchen. Something to keep in mind is that the toilet is quite cramped, but it does the job.
