Was welcoming and a great place to stay if you’re looking to go to Madison Square Garden!
10.0I liked how close it was to the venue! It also was very welcoming and organized well. I took a train into the city for a concert and was able to be right down the street. The property was also welcoming from staff to how clean the room was.
− Maybe adding a feature to the light when detecting movement it goes on. The only part I noticed was after around a half hour my light would be off.

8.0Can't beat the price for the location. They held our bags after checkout while we explored before our flight. Management was attentive.
− Stairs, we were on the 4th floor with no elevator but that's just how the building is. Bathrooms were a little janky but functional
Cheap room, comfy bed, good location
6.0Bed was comfortable, the gentleman at check in brought my heavy suitcase up
− No elevator, no amenities for refreshments, booked a queen room and got a double with the bathroom sink in the actual room and not the bathroom. Wifi spotty. Broken door lock.
For a place to just sleep, it was ok.

Exceptional value when you value Amtrak access over luxury.
9.0Very friendly and helpful staff. Always feels good to support a family business. Location for Amtrak access is unmatched. Exceptionally good value, especially for quick trips where train access makes getting in and out of the city easy.
− Many things could have been better, sure. But I paid well under two hundred for a hotel, last minute, next door to Penn Station. Amenities could have been nicer or newer; the bathroom was cramped. But I prefer the value over shiny counters.
