6.0We stayed in the Japanese Annex room for 3 nights. The room was clean no doubt but it was rather musky so we had to open the windows to air it. The fact that it was next to the outdoor laundry area, even with closed windows, you could hear people chatting while doing their laundry. Amenities were basic as this is afterall a hostel. The saving grace is the superb location which is close to the train station, restaurants and shopping district.

10.0On a quiet street, a laundromat is very close and it is cheap. Close to the Ikebukuro metro station. The room itself is a bit too small for 3 people (3 mattresses) but it's OK.
